It's Dougie's World, We're Just Living In It

Dougie Hamilton isn't afraid to use the body

I said it yesterday and I'll say it again Dougie Hamilton is the real deal. Two days after posting his first career point against the Rangers, Hamilton was back at it registering two huge assists on Friday night against the other New York team (Islanders) and was named the 1st star.

The first assits was similar to Wednesday's assist. Dougie took a shot from up near the blue line that found it's way to a team mate up front. Wednesday it was Marchand, Friday it was Thornton. Let me add that It's nice to see the 4th line coming through with two goals last night (Thornton and Cambell).

The second assist was a great feed from our zone. Hamilton fed a streaking Marchand on the wing with a long pass who then found Bergeron streaking up the middle to later deak DiPietro.

Dougie now has 3 points in 2 games. If he keeps up this play he is going to be a household name in the NHL. Keep doing your thing Dougie "Fresh."

Joe Corvo was god awful playing for the B's
Also something to note the Bruins stand at 3-0-1 during this early part of the season leading the Eastern Conference. They look really good and if they play like this every night teams are going to be scared when they see Boston Bruins on the schedule. The Bruins have sort of a test Monday as they go down to North Carolina  to face the Hurricanes. The Hurricanes have a decent team, as they have the two Staal brothers, and young guy Jeff Skinner. We also get to see infamous Joe Corvo play Monday which should be fun, hopefully he turns the puck as much as he did with the Bruins. Also Johnny Boychuk gets to play his cousin Zach Boychuk, should be an interesting game. Let's go B's!
