    NHL Seeking More Outdoor Games

According to CSNNE's Bruins Insider Joe Haggerty, the NHL is considering multiple outdoor games besides the Winter Classic. Among the list of venues are Dodgers Stadium in Los Angeles, Yankee Stadium and Gillette Stadium.
Imagine Gillette Stadium hosting a hockey game

I personally love the idea. If you recall, 3 years ago the Bruins hosted the Winter Classic at Fenway Park, and the game was more than memorable. If the NHL wants to recover from the lost revenues from the lockout they should seriously consider more than one outdoor game a year. It will get the fans hooked to the game and generate a substantial amount of revenue for the league and area the game is played in.
