    Soderberg in Skates?! Yes!

WEEI- Bruins forward Carl Soderberg returned to the ice Monday, skating before the team’s practice at Ristuccia Arena as he works his way back from an ankle injury. Soderberg did not participate in practice, with Jordan Caron remaining on the third line left wing.

Update: Carl Skated today as well.

Well this is great news! Carl Soderberg started the season sitting in the press box with a bummed ankle suffered in the final preseason game. Now it has been 2 straight days of the "Swede" skating.

In the first two games of the season, the once frustrating third line, is now looking as strong as the others. Between the trio of Chris Kelly, Jordan Caron and Reily Smith, they possess a +4 with a goal by both Kelly and Caron and an assist by Smith.

Now the question is does Claude tinker with the third line once Carl is ready? I personally say wait it out. See what this new trio can provide, maybe use Carl as a plug in from time to time.

At this point there isn't much to be worried about as the Bruins have won the first two games of the season over the Tampa Lightning and new foes Detroit Red Wings.

The Bruins continue the season Thursday night as the Colorado Avalance come to town.
