With what may be the game of the early season coming up on Thursday between the Bruins and Habs, Claude Julien had some say on his take of the rivalry.
“There is plenty of hatred, and I say that as a rivalry, on both sides,”
“From the time I was with the Nordiques I hated the Canadiens, and yet I grew up a Canadiens fan. Then you go back and work there [in Montreal], and then you become a fan again.
“Now I’m with the Boston Bruins, and rivalry-wise you don’t like them. It really is deep down where you are, and how you feel. Right now I don’t like [the Canadiens], and I really don’t like them on that side because I am a Boston Bruin right now.”
Right now the Bruins hold a 18-7-2 record with 38 points leading the Atlantic Division and are in second place in the Eastern Conference behind the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Canadiens hold a 16-9-3 record with 35 points putting them in 2nd place of the Atlantic.

Tomorrow's game should be another classic Bruins Habs game with a lot of physical play and possibly some fights.

The puck drops at 7:30. Keep checking Bruinslife as we will provide pre and post game analysis of the game. Go B's!
