Brad Marchand says he "hates," no..."dislikes" Montreal's Tomas Plekanec
Amid constant speculation of a trade throughout this off-season, it seems the rumors have done little to quell the agitating spirit of B's winger Brad Marchand.
Speaking at the 2014 Phoenix House Champs for Change in his hometown of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Marchand was posed a question, asking him to name which player in the league irritates him the most. Marchand's response? Montreal's Tomas Plekanec.
"There's a few guys who really irritate me," Marchand answered at first, but he elaborated and named just who one of those few guys are.
"Tomas Plekanec from Montreal, I hate him. I can't stand him. No, I probably shouldn't say that. I dislike him very much."
After the audience soaked in the candid response with a mix of laughter and some "Oh, sh*ts," Marchand finished the thought by admitting "Someone's going to call and get mad at me for saying that tomorrow."
