Nathan MacKinnon fakes out Wild defense en route to highlight reel goal (video)

The number one draft pick in the 2013 NHL Draft, and soon to be rookie of the year, Colorado forward Nathan MacKinnon showed off some fanciness in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Minnesota Wild in Game 2 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals.

MacKinnon, at 18 years old, took the puck into the Wild zone straight at Minnesota defenseman Jared Spurgeon, pulled off a little fake, and danced around him, forcing Spurgeon to trip over himself, and watch from the ice as MacKinnon went thin mints and fired a wrister past Ilya Bryzgalov to tie the game.

His first career playoff goal will certainly be remembered. Feel free to let your jaw drop.
