48 Game Season Starts Jan 19th

After following CSNNE Joe Haggerty here's a couple things to keep note of.

1st, according to Bill Daly, training camp is expected to open on Sunday.

2nd, the 48-game season would start on January 19th.

3rd, Buins players have taken advantage and have hit the ice at Boston University the past two days.

Another thing that Hags points out is that the Bruins had the most player play over seas (12), Rask, Ference, Boychuck, Chara, Paille, Khudobin, Bergy, Seguin, Kelly, Peverley, Krejci and Seidenberg. Also, note that a lot of the younger players i.e. Hamilton and Subban played in the World Juniors Tourny, so I feel if they can get a decent number of bodies on the ice for the rest of this week we will be in game shape come the start of the season. Also, Nathan Horton should be coming back from his concussion.

    I expect these lines:

LW: Lucic C: Krejci RW: Horton
    LW:Marchand C: Bergy RW: Seguin
    LW:Knight? C: Kelly RW: Peverley
    LW:Thornton C: Cambell RW: Paille

Not too sure for the 3rd line LW as Jordan Caron is injured, also look out for Chris Bourque. I still would like to see Seguin play his natural position of Center, but that line did good last year, could also see him and Horton switch, as Seguin seems to work with Krejci and Horton can add some physical presence to the 2nd line.

    Defense:
    Chara, Boychuck
    Seidenberg, Hamilton
    McQuaid, Ference

I could see Hamilton on either the first or second line, but will keep him on the second to balance things out.

    Goal:
    Rask
    Khudobin

I don't expect Subban to be up here yet, so unless Thomas comes back (see below) this is probably the way it goes.

Something else, there is all this talk if Tim Thomas will come back and every expert's response is that it is highly unlikely, so let's hope they can get rid of his contract somehow.
