Corey Potter to make his Bruins debut, Bartkowski the healthy scratch

Tonight's the night for Corey Potter.

Corey Potter will make his Bruins debut against the New Jersey Devils, playing in his first game for the Black and Gold since being claimed off waivers from the Edmonton Oilers back on March 5th.

Potter took part in the pregame warmup, and it was revealed minutes before game-time that he'll play in the game.

Defenseman Matt Bartkowski is the healthy scratch tonight vs the Devils after having a rough go of things last night vs the Wild. Johnny Boychuck is also out for the second straight game as he recovers from the beating he took on Saturday afternoon courtesy of the endboards at the Garden.

Potter skated with birthday boy Zdeno Chara in the pregame warmup, and it seems that's who he'll skate with tonight as he plays his first minutes for Boston.

The updated defensive pairings are expected to be:

    Zdeno Chara - Corey Potter

    Andrej Meszaros - Kevan Miller

    Torey Krug - Doug Hamilton
