Not bad a time to bag your first-career postseason overtime goal, Michael Handzus.

Winner! Handsuz sends the WCF to Los Angeles for Game 6 (via espn.com) |
To keep pace with the Canadiens and Rangers, the Kings and Blackhawks played their own rendition of playoff hockey circa-1980, skating to a 5-4 final in Game 5 at the Madhouse on Madison, with the home team coming out winners after Michael Handzus' goal at 2:04 in double-overtime to stave off elimination for the 'Hawks and force a Game 6 back in Los Angeles.
For a brief moment it felt as if the two Conference Finals would be over without much to show for in the entertainment department. But mix in some crappy defense, a pinch of crappy goaltending, Montreal's tried and true acting skills, some suspensions, and a combined 20 goals in two games, and what you have are two series' injected with a whole lot more intrigue.
