Bruins assign Seth Griffith to Providence

In 18 games with the club, Griffith has 7 points (five goals, two assists). His first NHL game was against the Colorado Avalanche on October 13. As of today, he was in a three-way tie for most goals.

Per Dan Cagen, with recent injuries and availability of players on the B’s, Griffith was the only viable option to send down without having to clear waivers.
