    Griffith pots highlight reel-worthy goal

    When Seth Griffith flew through the air after beating the Wild’s Niklas Backstrom, the sequence drew comparisons to Bobby Orr’s legendary goal and had us wondering how Griffith would ever top it.

    In Monday’s game against the New Jersey Devils, Griffith found a new way to impress us. After blocking a shot down in the Bruins defensive zone, Griffith beat out two defenders and sent the puck to the back of the net from between his legs, with his back facing Devils goalie Cory Schneider. The 21-year-old forward was recalled from Providence on October 20, and has certainly made his case for a permanent spot on the Bruins roster since.
