Brad Marchand getting hot at the right time
Love him or hate him, Brad Marchand is a huge cog in the Bruins machinery, and when he starts clicking; he really starts clicking.. Playing on a line with Patrice Bergeron and Reilly Smith, Brad Marchand plays the role of a pest, and has a knack in getting under people's skin on the ice.
He also likes to score goals too, according to Bruins Blog "Weekend at Bergy's".
And with goals like this shorthanded opener against the Detroit Red Wings, it's hard to argue against Marchand not being able to put up the points when it matters.
Or what about this backhanded shot from around the net that touched twine versus against the Calgary Flames?
And if that isn't enough of a fix for all the Brad Marchand fans out there, then this beauty set-up in the game against Chicago that ended in a Patrice Bergeron finish should hold you over for a little while.
Even though the stats show that Marchand's production is down in recent years, only putting up 22 goals and 18 assists this season, however one could argue that the Bruins in general is having an off year.
As the season winds down, it'll be interesting to see whether or not Marchand can keep up with his pace, and finish the season on a high note.
