The Boston Bruins have signed forward Justin Hickman to an entry-level contract. You can read more from the Bruins release here.
Quick thoughts
The Bruins were actually rumored to have signed Hickman back in January. Kirk Luedeke had more information on Hickman at the time:
Skinny on Hickman: Big, rugged power forward& T-Birds captain. Hits hard, fights, some skill, too-22 goals last yr, 2nd on team in pts 14-15

The bad news: He's having shoulder surgery & is out for the rest of the year, so Hickman not an option for B's until 15-16 season.

The 20 year old has spent the last 5 seasons with the Seattle Thunderbirds of the WHL, serving as captain for the last two years. He has 9 goals and 19 assists for a 28 point total in 31 games for the team this year. As you read above, he is injured for the rest of the season, but should be ready for Bruins' camp.
He brings a gritty, Bruins-style of play with him and will do anything the team asks of him. He is a character guy that should compete for a 4th line role next year. If he makes the team, he just may become a fan favorite.
