Carl Soderberg...The Savior?
Words are flying around that the Bruins are interested in bringing in Swedish forward Carl Soderberg after he concludes his playoffs. Soderberg would not require a trade to obtain, since the Bruins have him on their reserve roster list after he was dealt to the Bruins from the St. Louis Blues six years ago.
Soderberg is 27 years old 6'3" 210 pounds forward. In 54 games this season he recorded 60 points with 31 goals and 29 assists, leading his league in scoring.
Some consider him one of the best players in Sweden.
One top NHL team says Soderberg is a solid 2nd line centre. Bruins like his versatility on the wing as well.
