Jets Are Relentless, Bruins, Not So Much

Same story, different day. The Boston Bruins took a 1-0 lead into the 3rd period, but Winnipeg scored 3 unanswered goals and take the 2 points to the tune of a 3-1 victory.

The Bruins scored 8 seconds into the 2nd period, as Marchand capitalized off of a Winnipeg screw up on defense.

The Bruins brought the 1-0 lead 8 minutes into the 3rd period before Blake Wheeler scored on the power play, followed by Evander Kane cleaning up a rebound, and then Wheeler closing the curtain on an empty netter.

Tuukka played well saving 22 of 24 shots, but Winnipeg capitalized on their chances.

The Bruins need to find an answer for the third line, I'm sorry but they are doing absolutely nothing out there. It's tough that Krejci is out, and Spooner played decent, but Bruins management needs to realize that they need more offensive power. They are way too conservative with the lead, and it costs them.

The only positive we can take out of tonight is that Montreal lost in overtime. The Bruins have now lost 3 straight road games and next play Thursday in Ottawa. Can they get a W? Let's hope so, because if they lose, boy we are in trouble.
