Bruins to host "Slice the Ice" event
The Bruins will be hosting their annual "Slice the Ice" event, a unique chance for fans to step onto the ice at TD Garden, and support the Boston Bruins Foundation. The event, which is scheduled for Sunday, December 1st, allows fans the chance to experience TD Garden like never before.
The event consists of four hour and a half sessions, during which fans will be able to skate on the TD Garden Ice, where they are encouraged to take pictures from the Bruins bench, the penalty box, in front of the net, and of course, with the Zamboni. Skating sessions begin at 8:00 a.m, and end at 2:00 p.m. After the skate, fans will be brought on a tour of the B's locker room, followed by a photo op with the 2011 Stanley Cup banner.
