Round 2 recap: Ducks hold off Kings, win third straight game to take 3-2 series lead
Out on the West Coast, the Ducks and Kings, separated by a 40 minute drive on Interstate-5, have certainly played like there's no such thing as home or away.
The Kings stormed the Ducks and took the first two games at Honda Center to grab an early stranglehold on the series, but the Ducks returned the favor at Staples Center, winning Games 3 and 4 to get things back even.
Game 5 saw the series return to Orange County, and for the first time in the series, the home team came out as the victors, but it wasn't easy for Anaheim.
After the Ducks jumped out to a 4-1 lead in the second period, the Kings, as we all know they can do, staged a comeback to get back into the game. It fell one goal short in the end, with Anaheim holding on to win 4-3.
Los Angeles Kings @ Anaheim Ducks: 3 - 4, Anaheim leads the series 3 - 2
