The Bruins announced today that they have recalled forward Craig Cunningham from the Providence Bruins. His recall was not on an emergency basis.

If he plays against Anaheim, the game will be his fourth with Boston this season. Cunningham’s NHL debut was against the Calgary Flames on December 17 last season. With Providence, he has 13 points (four goals and nine assists) in 18 games.

The Bruins roster has also shown that center David Krejci has been placed on the injured reserve. According to Matt Kalman, he is eligible to play as soon as he feels healthy enough to play.

Krejci has missed 10 of the last 12 games, and will miss the next four with an undisclosed injury. He will not be making the trip to California with the rest of the team.
