David Pastrnak has been a giant spark for the Bruins this year and for all of his hard work, he was awarded NESN's 2015 Seventh Player award. This award is voted on by the fans and a quick ceremony was held at the beginning of the game to honor the 18-year old rookie.
Pastrnak entered tonight's game with 10 goals and 15 assists for a total of 25 points in just 40 games. He even surpassed the amount of points former Bruins star, Tyler Seguin, had in his rookie year. Pastrnak is also only one of two rookies to play more than 25 games this season, the other is the first overall pick of the 2014 draft, Aaron Ekblad, also featured in tonight's match-up with the Panthers. You can find the game recap here!
On behalf of Bruins nation, Congratulations David Pastrnak! You have definitely earned it.
