Bruins Claim Daugavins, Krug Sent Up
Youngster, Torey Krug might get game time tonight |
Today the Bruins continued the transactions by signing the infamous Kaspars Daugavins, the one who tried the ridiculous shoot-out attempt on Rask. Daugavins is a left-winger who was drafted in the third round of the 2006 draft. He is certainly not the answer, but probably more of a depth sign.
Also, the Bruins called up Torey Krug. Krug went un-drafted out of Michigan State last year and has been playing outstanding for the Providence Bruins in the AHL.
Maybe the promotion of Krug is to showcase his talents to scouts, along with the likes of Bartkowski. Time will tell, but let's hope for a good game tonight and a good trade coming soon.
