Bruins First Round Playoff Opponent Determined



      The Boston Bruins will face the Washington Capitals in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs. Since Ottawa lost today, Washington won today against the Rangers, and Florida defeated Carolina, the Capitals are in seventh place in the Eastern Conference and will play Boston. Many wanted the Bruins to play Ottawa in the first round because they have a much better record against them. Boston has only won against the Capitals once this season and the Capitals have won against the Bruins three times this season. The Bruins first playoff game against Washington will take place within the coming week.
