Adam McQuaid suffers injury, currently undisclosed

In Sunday's afternoon loss to the Hawks, B's D-Man Adam McQuaid suffered an unknown injury, and remained out for the second half of the game. The status of McQuaid is currently unknown, as Claude Julien doesn't like to diagnose injuries before consulting with a doctor.

“I don’t like saying it the night of because he needs to be looked at by a doctor," Claude said. “We’ll look at him tomorrow. It just obviously wasn’t good enough to finish the game, but we’ll evaluate him and at least give you a precise diagnosis on him.”

If "Darth Quaider" is unable to return to action for Monday's game against LA (and I would guess he won't play), then the Bruins will be forced to call up another defenseman from Providence.

McQuaid has already been sidelined from 17 games this season, with a combination of lower body injuries.
