What the experts say: ESPN analysts all pick B's over Wings

Ah, the other greatest time of the year. Experts' picks.

Just kidding. Picks by the experts of the sports world mean absolutely nothing and they have 0 impact on the outcome of any given game, unless of course your Tom Jackson.

However, with that being said, it is noteworthy that of the assortment of 12 ESPN hockey analysts and writers making their picks for Round 1, all 12 picked your Boston Bruins to come out on top over the Detroit Red Wings.

The Bruins over the Wings is the only unanimous decision from the panel given in the eight playoff series' to be played.

But that's not to say they all think the series will be a cakewalk; all 12 on the panel have the series going either six or seven games, which most fans would probably agree with.

The series matches two of the most storied franchises in the history of the NHL, and two of the most prideful. Neither team will go down without a fight, and neither team will give up in the face of adversity. It'll be great fun to watch.

It all starts Friday at 7:30 pm at The Garden.
