Eastern Final - Game 1: Rangers demolish Habs 7-2 to grab 1-0 series lead

    The Bruins lost to THEM?

The Montreal Canadiens did not look so great in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Final, as the Habs got smashed by the New York Rangers, losing by a final scoreline of 7-2.

The Rangers scored three times on the power-play and Henrik Lundqvist turned aside 22 shots en route to the trampling at the Bell Centre.

It seems the Canadiens might have a 'hate problem,' and the Bruins are all to blame for it. After going toe-to-toe for two weeks and seven excruciating games with their greatest rival, the Habs had to play versus a team they don't hate completely to their core. It was just another team, just another game. What resulted was a very hard coming-back-down-to-earth crash landing, making it clear that if the Canadiens don't want this series to be over before it even gets started, they need to find something to make them click and fast.
